I am a native Texan, aspiring philanthropist, and multipreneur. Driven by the values instilled in me by my late grandmother, I will continue to dedicate my life to the service of others. My passion is to create opportunities for generational change through my strengths in corporate affairs, economic development and public-private partnerships.

Born and raised in South Texas to a civil service and military family, I began a career in public safety communications for a municipal police and fire department. I developed an unwavering leadership style in the high stress environment, meticulously guiding teams through high-risk events while protecting law enforcement officers on the job.

For over a decade I served in both the Senate and House of the Texas Legislature, achieving the rank of Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor. I successfully influenced legislation related to defense and veterans' affairs, transportation and infrastructure, energy and sustainability, municipal and county affairs, and more.

I spent time in corporate America, at the leading environmental services company in the world, Republic Services. Where I managed a municipal portfolio of $25+ million dollars and aided city and county governments to meet sustainability goals through innovative recycling and waste strategies.
Rodriguez Resource Labs, LLC. (R2 Labs) is a laboratory of innovation, research and development, solving complex problems for elected officials, government & non-government organizations, and Fortune listed companies. Through my work I remain on the cutting edge of social, economic, environmental, and political trends.
I am proud to serve as President of the Edgewood Education Foundation, supporting the lowest income school district in Texas. An executive board member of the Association of the U.S. Army, the professional association of the U.S. Army; and as a board member for KLRN TV a PBS affiliate.
